Choosing an optimum career is a very important task, but it may also be a difficult one for youngsters. It may not be easy for you to decide what type of a profile will be the best fit, and since career counselling helps such people assess their skills, needs and desires in order to find a career that works for them, this type of counselling is considered to be an important step you need to take before you decide on a permanent career.
A career counsellor for any youngster could be a therapist, life coach, or simply a volunteer from the business world but will generally be trained to provide specific information about varied resources, discuss potential development, and administer and interpret your current aptitude and ability assessments. Students would definitely visit a guidance counsellor in high school before applying to any college and then again in college before choosing or changing majors, but career counselling at a young age can help anyone who wishes to adapt to the circumstances better, or explore ways to be much more satisfied with a current mindset. (This would be held for 3 days - 30 minutes everyday) mostly on Saturdays and Sundays and would cover the "Decision Making" and "SWOT Analysis" part in depth.
